How do I reserve a Shelter?

Shelter Rentals begin the first business day of the calendar year.

Rental requests may be made online or in the Park Office. Click here to check availability and reserve a shelter.

Shelter reservations are generally for the entire day from 7 am-dusk. Some Saturday rentals at Shelter 7 begin at 3 pm due to youth soccer.

Pioneer Park has seven shelters.


Shelter 1 - Located in the Southwest corner of Pioneer Park. Adjacent to horseshoe pits, volleyball, and basketball courts. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Shelter 2 - Located in the front (center) of Pioneer Park. Adjacent to the Pirates Cove playground, swings, and restrooms. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Shelter 3 - Located in the Northern part of Pioneer Park - between the Park Office and Aquatic Center. Features a small playground, electricity, and grills. Parking is at the Pool parking lot, with the nearest restrooms at the end of the bathhouse.

Shelter 4 - Located in the center of Pioneer Park. Proximity to Pirates Cove playground (without crossing Park Road) and restrooms. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Shelter 5 - Located on the south end of Pioneer Park, surrounded by natural areas. Perfect for weddings or small private gatherings. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Shelter 6 - Located in the center of Pioneer Park. Features a small playground, swings, electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Shelter 7 - Located in the eastern part of Pioneer Park. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

 

Old Town Park has one shelter for rental. Features electricity, grills, and adjacent parking.

Am I considered a resident?

Residents of Brown Township receive the 'Resident' rate for Park programs and rentals.

Not all of Mooresville is Brown Township (and most areas in Camby including Heartland Crossing are non-residents).

Where can I get a trail map?

Pioneer Park has over 3 miles of paved multi-use trails.There is a Fitness Trail with various stations along the trail.There is a new portion of trail that is not represented on the map.
